12/7 and 12/9 - Early Dismissal for students for Parent Teacher Conferences - student pickup will begin @ 11:50/buses will pull away @ 12:00 - NOTE: we will have child care available for parents attending Parent Teacher Conferences with their child's teacher until 4:00PM on this day

• Mitten Tree - Once again, our school will be collecting items for families in need. Please consider donating new mittens, gloves, and hats (no scarves or other outerwear) to keep little hands and heads warm this winter. The items will be donated to Astor Home for Children (ages 5- teen). The collection will begin on November 15th and run through December 10th. The Mitten Tree will be located in the lobby at CLS. Thank you for your support!

•Dismissal Reminder - please do not take down the rope blocking the back lot at dismissal time. For safety reasons, I have assigned staff to perform this task as part of their daily duties.

• Grade 4 Winter Concert Dates - Dear 4th Grade Families, We are so excited that the students will be able to perform in front of a live audience again this year! Due to Covid restrictions, we can only allow one audience member per student to attend each concert. In order to accommodate more attendees, we are offering two identical concerts on the same day, one in the morning and one in the evening. Performances will be held in the cafeteria. Please enter through the front cafeteria door and tell us the name of the student you are here to see. Students will sit with their guest when they are not performing. Social distancing and masks are required. These plans are subject to change in order to comply with Covid protocols. looking forward to seeing you...Mrs. Grover and Mrs. Calli
